The BRYCK start-up and innovation center initiated by the RAG Foundation supports aspiring founders, growing start-ups, and forward-looking scientists. In healthcare, BRYCK and the University Medical Center Essen (UME) will cooperate closely in the future. The collaboration is intended to create a novel opportunity for start-ups in the healthcare sector.
Starting in October, an intensive 10-week Startup Sprint will support startups. The program will be customized to the specific needs of the participating teams. To achieve the goals, the team will be supported by individually selected mentors from BRYCK and experts from UME such as Director Prof. Dr. Boris Hadaschik, Clinic for Urology, Prof. Dr. Dr. Jens Kleesiek, Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, and Director Prof. Dr. Ken Herrmann, Clinic for Nuclear Medicine. Interested individuals and company founders can still apply until September 02.
