Ting Han earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (IKIM), where he is also a researcher in the Trustworthy Machine Learning group. Prior to joining IKIM, he gained extensive experience working with dialogue systems. His current research focuses on providing theoretical foundations for improving the interpretability of foundation models, with a particular emphasis on their applications in healthcare. The ultimate goal of his work is to develop solid theoretical frameworks that enhance our understanding of how these models generalize and function, ultimately making them more transparent and trustworthy.
