Piush is a computer scientist who earned his doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) in Computer Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen, specializing in Natural Language Processing.
Before joining IKIM, he was a Senior Researcher in Generative AI at Dynatrace, where he focused on the development of agentic AI, its evaluation and observability. He was also part of the KISTRA research project, conducted in cooperation with the Bundeskriminalamt.
At IKIM, he works as a postdoctoral researcher on high-quality medical audio transcription, speaker diarization, and evaluation methods, along with their clinical applications. His goal is to make AI-based medical software affordable, edge-deployable, and computationally efficient without compromising quality.
