Kevin Kopp

Kevin studied Data Science in Business and Economics at the University of Tübingen, focusing on Machine Learning, Econometrics, and Causal Inference. He did his Bachelor’s in Sociology and Economics. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD at the University Duisburg-Essen, where his research investigates obtaining treatment effects from observational data using methods of Causal Machine Learning and Causal Inference. Between his Master’s and his PhD, he worked for a bit as a research assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. At IKIM, he contributes to the exploration of Gaussian Splatting algorithms for various use cases within the hospital environment.
