Hamza holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, where he specialized in deep learning techniques for computer vision. In his master’s thesis, he investigated self-supervised learning methods for visual anomaly detection. Being part of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at University Hospital Essen, his work focuses on developing automated solutions for lesion segmentation and report generation in PET/CT imaging, aiming to support diagnostic workflows in clinical practice.
