André Ferreira received his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (Medical Informatics) from the University of Minho in 2022, and was awarded best graduate of its School of Engineering for the academic year 2020/2021. He worked at NeuroSpin — Institut des sciences du vivant Frédéric Joliot (CEA) and is now a research assistant at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (IKIM) at University Hospital Essen. His main interests are medical imaging, computer vision, machine and deep learning, and bioinformatics.
